I came here from a recommendation and I’m so happy with the whole experience . The scheduling is done so well that I didn’t even have to wait , I literally walked in and was sat right down. The office staff was very welcoming and the Receptionist Nelly and the whole front desk staff make u feel comfortable from the moment u walk in. Also The cleaning I received made my teeth look like I got them whitened cause they were shades brighter from just that cleaning . The whole building and staff are very knowledgeable about the parts they play in the practice . From the front desk, to the assistant, all the way down to the doctor. It was just an easy experience and was really refreshing to have every thing go so smoothly.

Went for a cleaning today and this was my first time at Jay Dental. It was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist! The receptionist was pleasant, the hygienist (Svetla) not only stayed late to fit my cleaning in today due to a packed schedule but she was friendly, gentle, and thorough, and Dr. Ram was kind and had answers to all of my questions. Today was my first time visiting this office, and it was absolutely phenomenal! Svetla in particular was a joy to have as a dental technician. She absolutely put me at ease, and it was easily the best experience Ive ever had at a dentist office.

I was very pleased with my last visit. Originally scheduled for 4pm on a Saturday, they contacted me to move it to an earlier time twice which was GREAT! And then when I got there fir my cleaning and found out they could do a composite filling to alleviate a sensitive tooth issue I was extremely happy that they could fit it in so I wouldnt have to come back on another day.

Dr Jay and her staff are great as always nicest people she does great work and is very concerned for her patients comfort while shes working! So Glad my wife found her when she first opened he practice years ago!

Ive been to 6 dentists in my 64 years and Dr. Jay is right at the top.
She checks with you throughout your procedure to ensure youre comfortable. She typically sees you with-in minutes of the appointment time (no waiting around and wasting your time). And, her prices are reasonable in comparison to other local dentists.
My whole family has been using her for several years.

I recently got a new dental insurance, and my dentist in NYC was not in network anymore, so I needed to find a new facility for me and my family. After reading all the great reviews about Dr Ramakrishnan, I decided to schedule my periodic cleaning. The office is new and very nicely decorated: you can tell there's a personal touch and attention to details everywhere you look. All the staff who assisted me were courteous and ready to help. Dr R has great bedside manners and did a very thorough visit. She explained the issues she saw in the x-rays, and what to do to keep my gums healthy and avoid further problems. Now I regret not switching dentist earlier! Do yourself a favor: if you're looking for a new dentist, schedule an appointment with Dr R. You can thank me later.

I'm always apprehensive when going to a new dentist. I've been seeing my dentist and dental hygienist every 6 months in NYC for the past 15+ years. I work in NYC, so the office location is convenient for me.

I did try a NJ dentist once 10 years ago when I first moved to NJ....and it was a horrible experience. I'm not going to mention any names or go into details, but this doc is in Rockaway as well. His initials are S.K. During my 2nd visit with him, he gave me a list of things I needed done, price was $4,000. I immediately scheduled an appt with my dentist in NYC to get a 2nd opinion and she said she doesn't see anything wrong. The only tip she gave me was to floss more often. Because of that, I never went to Dr. SK again and continued my 6 month visits with my NYC dentist.....writing off all small town dentists as money hungry lying con-men who will scare you into unnecessary dental work for $$$$$.

Unfortunately, due to Covid, I had to cancel my May 2020 appt. Nov 2020 flies around the corner and it's been a year since I've had a cleaning.

I bit the bullet and did some online research along with the recommendation of my wife who sees Dr. Jay. I made an appt 2 weeks ago and had my first visit today.

Svetla was my dental hygienist at Dr. Jay's office. She is extremely thorough, kind and gentle. She is friendly and professional....and because I was new to the office, she explained everything before she started poking and cleaning. I put her skillset and bedside manner up there with my NYC dental hygienist. Excellent cleaning.

Afterwards, Dr. Jay came in to came in to introduce herself, welcome me to the office as well as examine my teeth. Dr. Jay was really down to earth as well and very professional.

I kinda feel bad about cheating on my highly recommended NYC dental team, but going forward I think I will continue my 6 month cleanings with Dr. Jay's office right here at home in Rockaway!

Summary: Clean, professional, and fast. I highly recommend Jay's dental! Svetla, their dental hygenist is a sweetheart and does a great job with my cleanings! Dr. Jay is personable, professional and makes treatment recommendations that are necessary (I've had dentists in the pasts that recommend so many different unnecessary work to be done!). Dr. Jay is not pushy and works with my needs.

During covid times, all staff wear masks, there's plexi glass dividers between the waiting room and reception desk, and they provide hand sanitizer to patients. Their maximum patient occupancy in the waiting area is 3 at this time, which is great that they're taking social distancing seriously!

Awesome Job ladies you knocked the ball right out of the ball park. I finally can were both my top n bottom dentures. So happy ???? I can't believe I am saying this but I LOVE MY DENTIST!!! I am terrified of going to the dentist and I have such a hard time bringing my children as well since they are terrified too. But Dr. Ram and the rest of her staff have made me feel so comfortable and so welcome that I was able to finally get some work down after being so embarrassed of my teeth for years. Excellent staff, extremely clean office, TV's on the ceilings, wait time was no longer then 10 minutes, very organized and just all around perfect. Great Dentist ...The staff is extremely professional and accommodating. I came here as a new patient with an emergency and infection in my tooth. They went above and beyond squeezed me in within a day of me calling, which is to say a lot if you have ever had pain and tried to get your existing dentist never mind trying to get a new dentist to see you. The offices are clean and new. The Staff is exceptional, the dentist was excellent. I was back to new within 2-3 weeks. The follow up A++ ..... I am signing my whole family up with Jay Dental

First visit to a new dentist for X-rays and a cleaning. Pleasant Doctor and staff, all were friendly and professional. Answered any of my questions and concerns patiently and the Doctor actually spent some time reviewing my current oral condition and possible future considerations. At other offices I have been to they always seemed to be in a rush to get to the next patient. A bonus, I had a 4:30 appointment and was in the chair by 4:30.

I'm not sure what that woman Lauren is talking about this place is beyond great. Excellent doctors, and the assistants were extremely nice and its also located in a great location, very close to my home. I am happy to take my whole family there as well.
